The Orient Star Contemporary Automatic Open Heart RE-AV0006Y is a premier mechanical timepiece from the prestigious Orient Star Contemporary collection, affectionately known as the "Modern Skeleton". It is designed for those who appreciate exposed mechanical craftsmanship and a rich, warm aesthetic. This watch is powered by a high-performance in-house Mechanical Automatic Movement (Caliber F6F44, Made in Japan) with 24 jewels and a frequency of 21,600 vibrations/hour. It features hacking, manual winding, and a stable 50-hour power reserve. The timepiece features a sophisticated Brown Dial (often described as Mocha or Chocolate) with an elegant sunburst finish. The unique design includes a Semi-Skeleton or Open Heart aperture at the 9 o'clock position to showcase the beating balance wheel, complemented by a Power Reserve Indicator at 12 o'clock and a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o'clock. The watch measures a comfortable 41mm in diameter and is protected by a scratch-resistant Sapphire Crystal with an anti-reflective coating. The movement is visible through a See-Through Caseback. It is completed by a high-quality brown genuine leather strap with a push-button deployment clasp and offers a water resistance rating of 100 meters (10 Bar).
